FOR THE MARGARITAVILLE AT SEA ISLANDER:

This morning, the U.S. Coast Guard lifted the fog-related closure of the channel leading to Port Tampa Bay. As of the latest advisory, Margaritaville at Sea Islander is expected to arrive at Port Tampa Bay on Tuesday afternoon, December 31, 2024, at approximately 12:00pm to begin guest disembarkation.
This means that, based on current estimates, embarkation procedures will run on a four-hour delay versus normally scheduled processes. Please plan to arrive at Port Tampa Bay four hours after previously scheduled arrival windows, with first arrivals beginning at 2:00pm.
For example, if your arrival window is 11:30am, please plan to arrive at 3:30pm. You can confirm your arrival window by logging into Cruise Control with your Booking ID and the primary guest’s last name.
If you or guests in your party plan on checking in luggage, please plan to arrive to Port Tampa Bay no later than 4:00pm. Checked luggage will not be accepted after 5:00pm and must be carried on by passengers after that time.
If you cannot find your scheduled arrival time, please plan to arrive no earlier than 3:00pm. Please be advised, terminal operations will close at 6:00pm, and no guests will be permitted to enter the terminal after this time.

Due to forecasted dense fog in the Tampa Bay area, the Port of Tampa Bay has temporarily closed access to the channel leading to Terminal 6. As a result, Margaritaville at Sea Islander’s arrival and departure on December 31, 2024, is likely to be delayed by at least two hours based on current information.
Given the unpredictable weather, we are unable to confirm embarkation times or the extent of the delay for tomorrow’s sailing. Please refrain from arriving at the Port during your originally assigned time window, as the Port will remain closed until further notice.
To ensure a smooth embarkation process once the Port reopens:
- Arrive only at the communicated time to reduce wait times outside the terminal.
- Have all travel documents for your party ready and accessible.
